Let's Get in Shape for the Summer!!

Hi =))

I hope you all are doing great on this Friday! The weather here is getting so nice, the only downfall? That yellow, dusty, itchy stuff that you find on your car from those beautiful Spring trees! I feel so horrible for my son who was hit with his first time allergy attack this season; he's only three! Loving the weather, though!

So, I feel extremely out of shape because it's going to be Summer soon and I am far away from the beach body I'm shooting for, lol. Let's get into shape. Here are some helpful tips:

1. Drink LOTS of Water. By doing this you will be cleansing out your body from unwanted toxins.   
    If you drink a lot of water before you eat a meal, you will be full a lot faster without eating as
    much.

2. Start incorporating  cardio into your days. Walk more. This can be done by parking out further than
    normal in the lot. Start to walk around the block with friends or the family.

3. Play a sport. (This can count as cardio.) It's fun to play and it's good for you too.

4. Eat all food groups. If you have the right proportions, you too can eat anything you want. It all has
   to do with a balance between food going into the body and exercise, or calories burning, energy
   going out. Everyone is different so don't be discouraged if your sister can eat more than you can
   and still not gain weight. You are better at something else that she is not good at.

These are just a few things that you can do to get started on your beach body. Leave me a comment on your favorite things to do to get ready for your summer beach body.

SheriMorgan100 & NYX Face Awards

Hello Friends! I am so excited because I finally finished my entry video for the NYX Face Awards! The only thing is that in order for me to move on in the contest, I have to get some thumbs up. I just uploaded the video today and other entrants have had their entries up for a while now! : /- O well, I am a firm believer of fate and if it is meant to be, it will happen.

I have been so crazy lately, this is my last week in one of my classes and I have been busy with kids, all of the things I want to accomplish, and the list goes on...Being a busy mom is not easy! Speaking of busy moms, I have met the sweetest person on youtube! Her youtube name is SheriMorgan100. Sheri is a makeup artist, stay at home mom, makes youtube videos EVERYDAY, which is so wow! I can only hope to be on youtube as much!! Sheri does beauty and fashion videos and is so sweet to do giveaways as well! You all should check her out!

Lip Plumpers ~ Do They really Work?

Hello All! I'm always looking for ways to enhance what my momma gave me, lol, so I've been on the look out for a good lip plumper. Victoria's Secret makes one that is Amazing but it costs a little over $20 and that to me is a bit over what I want to pay at the moment. I do however love it! I did a little video on my youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/misssandycandy if you are interested in viewing it. The outcome: Yes, they do plump my lips up. I tried one by NYC $3, Sally Hansen $8.99, & Too faced (bought at Marshalls for + or - $7.99, I can't remember). My favorite is the one by Too Faced in "Dare Me". This one adds a bit of color while plumping. I've also gotten complimented when I've used this one. Please take the time to view my video, it's only a minute long. Thanks for all your support!

New Puppy

Hello Friends!

I hope all is well with you on this Saturday! We are so excited about our new addition to our family. A sweet puppy named Gigi Bella! It's actually my mom's dog. My sweet sister gave it to our mom on Valentine's day but she has been with me for the past couple days because I am a "master" potty trainer, lol! In all seriousness, I fell in love with her. It was love at first sight! Mom has gone to Florida to see how her house is coming along; my brother is doing roof work there.

I hope you all are having a wonderful February. I can't believe that it is almost Valentine's Day! Thankfully we are having a busy, but safe, year. As of today I am in the process of editing a video for Destination Beauty, which I am so excited about. They are having a contest on becoming the next Beauty Guru! You have no idea how ELATED I would be if I won!! I have to do a video on a red carpet look. I just did the look and now I have to edit it down to four minutes. Wish me luck! Nicole Richie Inspired Hair & Makeup Look at the Golden Globes 2012

Hello Everyone! I hope you all are doing well this January. Hard to believe that we are almost through January already!! Where does the time go? I saw Nicole Richie's hair and makeup for the Golden Globes and I knew I had to re-create it! She had a sleeked back pony tail but it was done so creatively and beautifully. Her makeup was also beautiful using golds and greys that matched her gray dress, an unlikely pair but it was perfect. Team Schuerman

The other day I was saddened to learn that Samantha Schuerman from youtube, had closed her accounts. Both her beauty channel and her daily family vlog channel, Schuermanshow, do to cyber bullying. I could not believe that there can be so many hateful people that can actually spew hate and write horrible comments in the hopes of bringing people down to their sorry level of humanity, if they can be called that. There were many followers and fellow youtubers that were not about to take this laying down! By countless emails and videos made in support of the Schuermans they came back on yesterday to let those haters know that they are NOT going to win! I was SO happy to see TheSchuermanShow and SamanthaSchuerman back on youtube yesterday!

I am so happy to be part of the youtube community and I hope that each of us remember not to let those haters get us down. There are still loving positive people that are around to build us up. I have no idea what people get out of putting others down. It is beyond me. I only wish the best for all of you and if you come across a hater, DO NOT let them get you down. This is what they have set out for themselves, it is almost a mission of theirs to make sure that if they are down and feeling bad, it becomes their job to take everyone else down with them.
